hela Sverige Looking for a challenging role in a dynamic and growing company? Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager for HVDC to join our team.
As the Global Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining all necessary processes, systems, and tools required to deliver stable performance and sustainable improvements across the Business. You will lead the Quality and CI organization and ensure that appropriate quality assurance methods are applied to prevent mistakes when delivering products, projects, and services to customers.
Your responsibilities:
Drive the organization to a stable quality performance and to continuously improve.
Develop and lead the Quality and CI organization.
Establish, maintain, and administer a certified QMS in compliance with all external certifications.
Define and promote the use of standard methods and tools in accordance with Hitachi Energy directives and regulations.
Utilize requirements management, process implementation, risk management, and performance measurement to ensure effective internal controls are in place.
Design, implement, execute, and continuously improve a system or framework to generate, prioritize and execute improvement ideas.
Ensure the Voice of the Customer is represented within the business.
Assess the competencies and knowledge required to execute all Q&CI processes against the existing resource in the organization.
Build and manage the Quality & CI team.
Your background
A university degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management or continuous improvement roles, preferably in a similar type of business.
Demonstrated experience leading and managing change in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical skills, including experience with quality and continuous improvement data and data-driven decision-making.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with senior leaders.
Experience in developing and leading quality and continuous improvement teams.
Experience in leading quality and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple locations.
Certification in quality management or continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) is preferred.
