We are looking for a Global Quality Engineer. The role includes support developing and implementation of Global Quality Routines. You will work closely with colleagues from different countries so building a wide internal network is a key success factor. In the position, you will be reporting to Director Global Quality & Product Care. The position is based at our TechCenter in Trosa, Sweden and the main working area will be Europe.
Key objectives and responsibilities
Support the Global Quality & Product Care department in various different tasks.
Help formulate quality assurance policies and procedures.
Perform project-level quality audits and surveillances to determine and evaluate the level of compliance.
Acting as an integral team member in an international network mainly with our different QM Managers, Productions and Labs, but also with main Supplier and Customers.
Provide technical guidance for quality management system implementation under recognized quality standards for hardware, software and manufacturing.
Support international product care projects and main customer audits in our European Factories.
Conduct supplier quality assessments and perform Quality assurance inspections.
Your background and profile
To be successful in this role, we believe you are able to work independently, think creatively and analytically, and make quick and sound decisions. In addition you should have:
BS/Master degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related Science or Engineering degree
At least 3 years related experience in an production area and/or in a quality function.
Excellent communication and networking skills in an international working environment
Excellent English and MS-Office skills. Other languages are beneficial.
Good knowledge and experience of quality and environmental system management such as ISO9001:2015
