hela Sverige KA Purchasing organization is responsible for direct and indirect material throughout KA globally. We are a centralized function, supporting our R&D and production organizations within the BAs. In Purchasing Driveline we are app 20 persons with various roles. There is a team of Project Buyers working as a global function with focus on sourcing for our new customer projects and future development programs. The Project buyer is an important role within the cross functional team in Driveline and within Purchasing.
We are looking for a Global Project Buyer who will be responsible for and assist with buyer competence to different product development projects. You will be responsible from the start of the project until the products goes in to production. You will also work with the development and implementation of purchasing strategies in the development projects. There will be a close cooperation with the development engineers, commercial operations and other strategic buyers for building a strong cooperation with the right suppliers. This position offers a great variation where your business sense will be much appreciated and where you will be involved in technical development and use your skills in finding good suppliers.
We are looking for you with an academic background and at least 3 years of experience from purchasing in technical development projects. It is positive with Automotive background or knowledge from similar industry. To succeed in this position you need to have technical competence, analytic skills and be accustomed to working towards different goals. You need to be flexible and driven with a great sense of responsibility. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is important when working in our global organization. Traveling will be a part of this role but you will be based in our unit in Gothenburg and you will report to the Global Project Purchasing Manager.
