We are looking for a Global Production Unit Controller to provide financial and operational support for our Global Production Unit situated in Hagfors, Sweden. The role may be based in our office in either Karlstad or Hagfors, however 1-2 days/week is required on site in Hagfors.
Are you the candidate we are looking for?
Your main tasks and focus areas are:
• Proper cost accounting and controlling of the global production unit
• Cost management and support of Global SER BL/BU cost center related matters
• Capacity cost follow up for Hagfors production unit
• KPI/Scorecard reporting based on metrics determined by management
• Active member of operational teams, providing support to production and logistics
• Preparation of needed reports to support business management in the location
• NWC management support to manage inventory levels
• Support in key development programs, such as the current ERP implementation and transfer pricing
• Ensure successful application of Valmet accounting guidelines and financial policies (IFRS)
• Provide financial support on investment and / or other business decisions including implementation follow up
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration required with a Master's degree preferred, together with sound cost accounting knowledge.
• A minimum of 3 years of Finance and prior experience in a similar role supporting global business and/or related business management experience along with strong analytical skills.
• Strong influencing skills and demonstrated ability to achieve results in a matrix, global organization.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal in English and Swedish, as well as ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents in English and Swedish.
• Good organizational skills and solid business acumen.
• Strong knowledge of, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and experience with financial management systems such as LN/Baan, HFM and DW. Ability to prepare written and graphical presentations. Power BI knowledge is an additional benefit.
• Self-motivated and ability to work well either independently or as part of the local management team on varying activities.
• Willingness and ability to some travel on an international basis.
