Do you want to make a difference and be part of our journey toward a World Class operational planning process? Then the role as a Global Production Planning Manager within Epiroc Underground Global Operations Team might be just for you!
To take the next step in our global footprint strategy we are adding a new role of a Global Production Planning Manager. You will be a part of the Global Operations Team, consisting of the General Managers of our production sites in China, India and Sweden, Global Sourcing Manager, Global Operations Developer and reporting to the Vice President of Underground Operations. Your mission
As a Global Production Planning Manager, your mission is to develop and continuously facilitate the global process for production planning including staffing, material, space and flexibility in close collaboration with our production sites (PCs) and marketing. You will establish & monitor KPIs and drive improvement of the process to improve performance. Other responsibilities would include:
* Set up the global flexibility model for the Underground Division to meet business needs and mitigate risks.
* Ensure global alignment and overall resource optimization across our production footprint.
* Be an ambassador for the production planning process: Actively promoting the benefits of the process and increasing the cross-functional understanding of important deliverables.
* Coordinate, communicate and document forecast change decisions and feedback at the global level.
* Participate in production planning activities related to company integrations, divestments, movement of production and systems.
* Contribute to the supply chain competence development throughout our organization.
Your profile (Skills, knowledge and personality)
We are looking for a university-level educated person that has a solid understanding of production and supply planning, and a strategic and analytical mindset. You are a person that is able to make tough decisions, challenge ways of working and enjoy a diverse and cross-functional environment.
To be successful in this role, you should be systematic, and like to work with numbers, processes and continuous improvement. You are self-going and with good collaboration and leadership skills.
Since the role is global, good skills in English (verbal and written) are a requirement.

Location and travel
The role can be located at any of our Product Companies, Örebro (Sweden), Nanjing (China) and Nashik (India). Occasional travel is required.
