The Production Finance department is responsible for the development and operation of the finance and the performance management processes within Sandvik Coromant Production, and we do this through analysis, support and active engagement with our production organization. We are now looking for a Global Production Controller to join our team, and play an important role for our company in providing and developing business oriented controlling and improve our ways of working. This is a varied role with good development opportunities in our truly international organization.
The location for this position is Sandviken, Sweden, but some international travel is part of the role
Key performance areas
As a Global Production Controller, you support overall production controlling, particularly regarding controlling of material costs, where you will be in the lead to develop clarity and transparency to improve cost development. You also lead and support various projects, process improvements and analysis within Production Finance. You have a good understanding of financial processes and constantly work to improve towards lean, efficient and to-the-point processes, all the way from local to global level. You also support the central staff functions within production with cost follow-up and forecasting. You have frequent contact with controllers at our production units globally; and, together, you work to develop and improve efficiency in our way of working.
We are looking for someone with a relevant Bachelor's degree, or equivalent knowledge obtained from work experience, and a minimum of three years of experience from business and production controlling, as well as some leadership experience from direct or indirect project and change management. A background from material cost analysis, sourcing or purchasing is also advantageous. Finally, as we operate in an international setting, we require that your English skills are advanced, both verbally and in writing.
