The Product Portfolio group within the HVDC Marketing and Strategy department is recruiting a global product specialist to join and increase our team in the field of Product Portfolio Management. The preferred location for this permanent position is Västerås or Ludvika (hybrid work model).
This is an opportunity to work in a very dynamic organization operating in cross-functional environment. The person is expected to drive activities with the support of the existing team and build on the existing base, but also actively contribute with new ideas on improving features and ways of working.
There is more than one way to approach this role. You can be a strong professional with some years of relevant experience or a recently graduated/graduating student with willingness and courage to test your limits in learning new things and taking on the challenges that are part of our daily work. Depending on your background, we will provide training and support to help you grow into this role.
The Product Management function at HVDC is continuously evolving in different ways to better manage our product portfolio as the HVDC market, applications and our solutions are growing in number and sizes. The business has come to a point where efficient and strategic management of our product portfolio will increasingly play a critical role in scaling up of the HVDC business. The offered position will be a key role to facilitate and develop effort with the global HVDC organization in following key areas:
Your responsibilities
The HVDC Master Product Roadmap that consolidates the demand and supply side of our product development roadmaps. The task is to drive, maintain and develop the usage and development of this with all stakeholders in the global organization. This will give a very good insight in the complete business.
Temporary Sales Approval (TSA) activities are a vital tool to control the business risks when introducing new technologies into HVDC projects. The task will be to drive, develop and maintain the governance of this process for the product management focus and coordinate with the HVDC Roadmap and the HVDC Business side.
Development in Power BI for our Market Analysis tool and develop this together with the Global Product Managers to enhance and collect feedback from the user base.
Work on development of the business development tools that we use for establishing fast answer on customer request of budgetary estimates and proposed solutions.
Your background
You hold a university degree in a technical field
You are a curious, confident, ambitious and self-motivated person, who thrives in a cross-functional environment. With your collaborative and communicative skills, you contribute to a great team spirit.
As you will be working in a global environment, you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike, whereas knowledge of additional languages is meritorious
