As Global Product Specialist, you will be part of the business unit Drives and the Global Product Management team for Softstarters. We are responsible for long-term profitable growth and marketing. This is a highly visible role, where you will get a great understanding of how industrial drives and Softstarters are used globally. Not only will you get the satisfaction and reward as we fulfill our customer's expectations, but you will also be part of an exciting growth journey ahead.
Tasks:
As Global Product Specialist, you will be part of the Global Product Management team for Softstarters, which consists of five persons who are all operating globally to make sure we know local market needs and can serve our customers in the best way possible. An important part of your mission will be to support, motivate and inspire our sales force by making sure they are committed and confident as well as having the proper training and material for them to be able to perform and reach their full potential. Therefore, the position offers a great opportunity to practice your leadership skills and your ability to create a strong team spirit, which will strengthen us in the thrive to reach the next level of our business.
Other important parts of your work will be to promote the product portfolio and give product presentations and trainings. You will also be involved in developing business cases and specifying technical solutions and services for R&D and other parts of the organization. You will be a key contributor in developing the product line strategy.
In this challenging and broad role you will travel the globe and be highly visible to our customers and our organization - focusing on creating a superior customer experience. Requirements:
As a person, you have a high level of inner drive and take natural ownership of your responsibilities. You possess great communication skills and have a positive can-do attitude. You hold no prestige, are humble and have a cultural sensitivity, which makes it easy to collaborate with you. Furthermore, you have the commitment and ability to lead and motivate others.
Most likely, you have a relevant Master's degree from university and have worked in a relevant field for a few years. You have a solid technical background, preferably with experience of softstarters or drives in general. Marketing and sales knowledge is an advantage, preferably gained from working with B2B sales in the industry sector. Global experience is preferred and we expect fluency in English - oral and written. If you have skills in other languages, it is considered an advantage.
