Eka Chemicals is a leading supplier of bleaching chemicals, paper chemicals and systems to the pulp and paper industry throughout the world, and supplies certain special chemicals to the pharmaceuticals industry, water treatment, the electronics industry etc.
The unit Technology and Engineering has about 135 employees in three departments; Process R&D, Global Technology and Eka Engineering.
Global Technology as part of the unit T&E has the role to drive Operational Excellence to create competitive advantages, support growth and add customer value.
In Global Technology, we are establishing a new group, with totally 3 employees, the group will focus on Product Safety. We are now looking for a Global Product Specialists for the group. At the moment there are several changes coming in the area of Product safety, for example new systems in SAP. The main challenge for the Product Safety organization for the coming period, is to drive and support the change in work processes and systems so that Eka Chemicals can have efficient and well functioning work processes for Product Safety, both globally and locally at sites.
Dina arbetsuppgifterThe Global Product Safety Specialist focus on:
Participate in implementation the global EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety) system, based on SAP, and take a leading role in the working processes.
Support Eka Chemicals Sites and SBU organizations to become self-sufficient in using the EH&S tools.
Make evaluations of requested changes of products and production procedures from an HSE and regulatory point of view for example
Create, review and release SDS and labels in the EH&S flow
Add and review Dangerous goods information in the EH&S workflow
Actively participate in the work processes and evaluations connected to the global system for production recipes for Eka Chemicals and the Product Data Process.
Participate and lead sub projects in the implementation of the Product Data Process in connection to EHS processes.
Provide on-demand, expert service to internal stakeholders for the systems.
Support the implementation of the new products into manufacturing and introducing the product into SAP.
Participate in evaluation of products in the development or introduction of new products.
Participate in realization of projects regarding new processes and products
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
Applicable university degree and a minimum of 1-3 years related experience in product safety issues.
Practical experience of change management.
Knowledge about SAP, and the EH&S module.
Knowledge about classification of products, GHS, CLP and Dangerous Goods
Practical experience in manufacturing and /or HSE functions including Product Safety
High communication skills
Demonstrated capabilities in English writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
