We are now looking for a Global Product Specialist who is a strong communicator and wants to be part of a skilled and specialized team in a global environment!

You will be responsible for supporting the business on product safety related documents to ensure regulatory compliance. As part of this you will provide (proactive) advice on classification and labelling to internal parties as well as support our business on relevant topics towards external customers.. You will also manage harmonized Business Area processes to ensure compliance with Globally Harmonized System (GHS) classification and label standards on a global level.

Main responsibilities
• Responsible for managing completeness and quality of physical, chemical and toxicological data and assessment for classification of active portfolio products.
• Responsible for compiling product safety relevant documents (such as safety data sheets, labels and transport documents) for a business unit.
• Assists in managing substance and raw material portfolios in collaboration with other product safety positions. Objective is to ensure compliance and possibility for AN Specialty Chemicals to remain in the market.
• Responsible for coordinating the product safety support given to the designated 'business unit in terms of documents and information (e.g. Exposure Scenario's), effectively acting as the product safety focal point for issue handling and communcation.
• Responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of systems used (especially SAP EH&S) in order to act as internal expert.
• Leading/participating in product safety related projects encompassing entire BA within own area of responsibility.
Setting up harmonized processes within own area of responsibility in the Business Area concerning business processes and change management.

• M.Sc or B.Sc. in chemistry or life sciences and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional language is an advantage).
• Ability to plan and execute own work efficiently while keeping stakeholders informed.
Good knowledge in classification and labeling requirements globally.
Experience with SAP EH&S is highly preferable
Ability to get understanding of processes and systems very fast.

This is a permanent position on a full time basis, reporting to the Manager Global Product Safety & Support and based in Stenungsund.
