At Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions we're now looking for a Global Product Safety Manager for our Stationary Crushing and Screening Divisions. About your job
In this position, you're responsible for developing and implementing robust product safety strategies, policies and procedures to support the business in ensuring compliance with the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance across global markets. You remain up-to-date on global safety and sustainability regulations and standards - implementing the integration of these requirements into the product development lifecycle. By ensuring a robust risk management framework and process is implementing for new and existing products, you support the relevant teams, as required, to identify and manage potential safety hazards and sustainability requirements.
In this role, you will also:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective product safety mitigation strategies.
Lead and participate in product safety and compliance risk assessments.
Develop and implement product testing processes to ensure adherence to safety standards.
Support and participate in the investigation and analysis of product safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure ongoing compliance with regional and international product safety and sustainability regulations.
Develop and deliver training programs to internal teams on product safety and sustainability protocols and procedures.
Identify opportunities for improvement in product safety and sustainability.

This position is based in Svedala, Sweden or Perth, Australia and we offer the opportunity to combine on-site and remote work. The role includes time zone adaptation over time and travel to Sandvik Sites globally over 30 days per year.
Your profile
We're looking for a passionate collaborator with a degree in Engineering, Safety Management or a related field, combined with solid experience in product safety management - including the machinery directives, preferably applicable to Stationary Crushing and Screening divisions' offering and geographies. This role requires a product safety professional who can convert regulatory compliance to applied practical solutions, ensuring the safety and compliance of our products. You have in-depth knowledge of product safety standards, regulations and best practices in the mining industry, as well as an understanding of product development processes, materials and manufacturing methods. A passion for the integration of sustainable solutions in our product design and manufacturing is highly regarded. We operate in a global setting, which calls for fluency in both verbal and written English.
As a leader, you're capable of driving change, influencing safety-conscious behavior across the organization, and making informed decisions under pressure. With your excellent communication skills, you can effectively convey complex product safety concepts to a diverse audience and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Your analytical- and problem-solving abilities enable you to assess and mitigate safety risks effectively.
