As a Global Product Quality Leader you will hold a strategic and important role belonging to the department Product Quality and Technical Service - Gothenburg. Our teams have the overall responsibility for initiating all short term quality improvements and influencing long term projects to deliver the right quality level.
Main Responsibilities
The mission for a PQL within Transmission is to be part of the team managing the improvement of Transmission components, and you will lead the work within the pre-study and issue detection area. In this team you will perform pre-investigation of field quality issues, prioritize them and secure that appropriate corrective actions are taken together with the product owners.
As a PQL you will ensure communication on product quality and customer satisfaction within Volvo GTT and to all our stakeholders.
You will be part of a result oriented team of highly motivated colleagues that wants to make a difference for the end customer and achieves this by promptly addressing and resolving customer issues.
Qualifications
Work experience within heavy duty engines powertrain. Transmission knowledge is a merit
Experience within the field of data analytics
University degree in technical area or equivalent experience
Good knowledge about aftermarket, quality processes and products
As this is a senior role a minimum of 5+ years of working experience in the field of area is required
Personal Profile
For success in this role you have work experience in relevant field and proved and record in communication and presentation skills. You have a can do mindset, technical interest, and great interest in data analytics and are willing to learn more about our products and their application.
