We are looking for a strategic, motivated and result oriented person for the Global Product Manager (operations) position at the marketing department within the Epiroc Drilling Tools division.
Your main responsibility will be to further develop and implement our Tophammer strategy including product related support, planning of the product portfolio (both short and long term), prioritizing development in combination with managing the service organization.
A large part of your work will be also to develop the business with regards to increase the sales in connection with providing world class service, but also to maintain the product portfolio within the product line. You will work with our sales companies around the world to establish, plan and carry out service activities. An important part of your work is to establish product strategies which will serve as a base for our product development and future product portfolio. You will lead an organization of 11 people responsible for support, training and technical service to our sales companies and customers.
As Global Product Manager you will report to the Product Line Manager for Tophammer equipment.
Job description:
Lead and develop the Tophammer Marketing team (operation) at the Product Company to exceed customer satisfaction.
Identify, develop and implement strategies and provide continuous service/support to the Customer Centers.
Make sure that the divisional targets in terms of sales, consolidated profitability, positioning, market shares and customer's definition of value are continuously met.
Focus and prioritize service activities based on demand /need in connection with current and new business opportunities.
Support Epiroc Customer Centers in product application and in the provision of training in all aspects of the product.
Acts as Product "Champion" liaising with Epiroc Sales Companies and the Secoroc Product Companies which includes rock drilling tools & hand held rock drills.
Experience requirements:
We are looking for a person with the following profile;
Experience of rock drilling and good product knowledge from mining and construction applications. Experience of international rock drilling business. Good knowledge of the English language (verbally and in writing), knowledge of other languages is a plus. Power of initiative and a strong driving force.
Personality requirements:
Strong communication and skills. Customer oriented attitude and long term sustainable oriented. Energetic and result oriented and should act strategically. Willingness to travel on a frequent basis.

You will be located at the Division's head office in Fagersta, Sweden.
