We are now looking for a Global Product Manager Adhesives who can help us increase our market position through responsibility for our products and projects in Furniture and Flooring Adhesives. This is a permanent position, planned to be based in Stockholm.
You report directly to Global Segment Manager Adhesives.
The main tasks and responsibilities are:
You have the responsibility to bring products from the experimental phase, to sales and forward to cancellation ? and all activities connected to this.
As Global Product Manager Adhesives you will:
• Actively manage the global product portfolio for your market segment, bringing in new products to cover gaps and regularly eliminating obsolete products
• Work as Project Leader in development projects of new products for your market segment
• Identify new product needs and create specification for new products in liaison with Sales, RD&I and Marketing colleagues
• Work with our Regional Support Managers and our Global Segment Manager to create relevant value propositions for market segments in accordance with the segment plans
• Ensure effective planning, communication and progress of new product development.
• Provide ideas for product positioning to broader product management community
• Contribute to the creation of best practices in product management through the business
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Economics or Chemistry
• At least 5 years years working experience in R&D or commercial environment and with projects.
• Working experience in multi-disciplinary teams
• Very good written and verbal English and Swedish communication skills required.
The role requires ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in the market to develop strong contacts with potential key clients to generate and enhance sales.
Must be able to drive a high performance culture within the application group and to motivate the team and other internal stakeholders to reach expected results.
You are proactive and can deal with a wide range of problems often requiring experienced based judgments where pragmatic and interpretative thinking is needed.
