hela Sverige * Define the product vision and associated roadmap for SCADA used by Transmission, Distribution, and Generation Operators that creates innovative solutions that enhance our customers operations and leads to significant growth in the ADMS, EMS and GMS markets; in particular, responsible for creating a comprehensive solution that addresses the needs of the global markets within which ABB plays.
• Shape the ABB image as the pre-eminent player in the provision of SCADA systems in the marketplace through the preparation and delivery of thought leadership and value proposition related collateral materials, including presentations and white papers to analysts, partners, and industry groups.
• Working with the marketing and sales organization, define and manage business development campaigns to interact with sales targets earlier in the sales process to drive revenue and sales growth.
• Advise the SVP Product Management Network Control on acquisition opportunities.
• Advise the SVP Product Management Network Control on opportunities for partnerships with vendors who provide advanced applications which are not found in the ABB suite.
For this role, we are looking for a fast learner, who enjoys interacting with customers, who is quick and able to understand the real customer needs and be able to extract root problems, and to then summarize what the customer is saying in a concise and actionable way.
You are a self-motivated visionary with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail. The role requires that you have the capability to lead and influence others in a global matrix organization. You also have the ability to manage effectively and efficiently the competing requirements of delivery and functionality.
As a key member of the Product Management leadership team, you are capable of communicating at various levels throughout the organization, both internally and externally. You also need to have excellent written communication and presentations skills.
At a minimum, you have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an electric utility and/or with a provider of SCADA systems for network management. Experience of having worked in the industry a plus.
Fluency in English is required, and being multi-lingual (for instance Swedish or Spanish) is considered a plus. This is a customer-facing role and you should be willing and able to travel 25% of the time.
ABB's Network Control unit provides leading network management and control systems for generation, transmission and distribution management systems enabling ABB's customers to perform their day-to-day operations.
As Product Manager for ABB's SCADA you'll be responsible for the definition and delivery of the product roadmap for ABB's Network Control SCADA for the global network management market. It underpins our Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Generation Management Systems (GMS).
