We have an exciting new opportunity for a Global Product Manager for our lead product Strangvac - a vaccine that promises to be a game changer in the fight against the equine disease Strangles.
Strangvac is expected to be launched commercially in Europe during the summer of 2021. As Global Product Manager, you will have the overall strategic responsibility of successfully launching Strangvac as well as the further development of Intervacc's equine portfolio. You will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders in our overall mission to provide this safe, efficacious and easy-to-administer equine vaccine to the global market.
Intervacc has its HQ in Stockholm Sweden and is listed on the Swedish Nasdaq First North Growth Market. The position is preferably based in Stockholm Sweden, but for the right candidate it is also possible to work from a home office for example located in the UK, France, Germany, or Benelux. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Global Product Manager, you will lead the task of launching Strangvac around the world.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Lead the global launch of the strangles vaccine Strangvac for Intervacc
• Lead the marketing campaign for Strangvac
• Together with our R&D team, lead the further development of the equine portfolio
• Support and strengthen our local product specialist team
• Support the European distribution partner for Strangvac and help build the global distribution partner network for the global launch of Strangvac
• Build strategic and cross-functional collaborations, both internal and external, to secure the long-term profitability of Strangvac and the equine portfolio
• Participate in bringing in new competencies and talents to Intervacc and continue to grow the team.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
The suitable candidate has the following qualifications:
• Strong interest in, and understanding of the equine market
• Excellent B2B skill set
• Experience in working with big pharma
• University degree in relevant discipline, such as veterinary medicine (merited, but not required), biomedicine, pharmacy, equine studies
• Marketing knowledge in the veterinary equine segment is a merit
• Preferable working experience as Product Manager or Equine Specialist from the Animal Health Sector or as a Product manager in the Pharmaceutical Human Health Sector
• English language working proficiency required
• Swedish language working proficiency a plus, but not required

Strong communication and time management skills as well as a high level of accountability are required to be successful in this role.
