Now we are looking for a Global Product Manager to join our Solution Management Department.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Axis Enterprise Solution offering consist products from Axis as well as partners and an eco-system to support them. We are now looking for two Product Managers to drive the over-all solutions and establish a clear ownership of Axis own Enterprise solution components.
As Global Product Manager you will have the main responsibility for our Enterprise Solution offering. You will manage the entire life cycle - from strategic planning to tactical activities. This includes activities such as: gathering market input, creating business plans, roadmap planning, product definitions, track product projects, introduction/launch of new components, business follow-up/review.
You will have high focus on understanding our customers’ need in the enterprise business space. You need to build an understanding for how we can develop and grow our existing Enterprise Solution offering with new products, partnerships and increase value utilizing and developing existing components. You must have broad experience from both business and technology.
You will work in a team of product managers, partner managers and partner engineers that are responsible for Axis Enterprise Solutions. Within R&D you will work with Architect as well as Project Managers to define the use cases and requirements.
High level list of responsibilities;
Develop deep understanding of the competition and market needs Create a companywide understanding of the possibilities with Axis Enterprise Solution offering Take an active part in market and sales activities to promote our solutions Inform and train the sales force as new products and solutions launches Own and drive the strategies, business plan and roadmap for the Enterprise Solution offering Understanding and communicating the complete solution to R&D teams
Travelling will be required 20 to 40 days a year.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We want you to have a technical university degree including software development as one component. You also have at minimum ten years of working experience with a few years of software development. It's very good if you have a clear interest in business and market dynamics. Your written and verbal communication skills are excellent and you are fluent in English.
In addition to above we see that you have:
Technical knowledge about Video Management Systems. Knowledge in software development processes. Understanding of online service offerings

THE SOLUTION MANAGEMENT TEAM
Solution Management is globally responsible for the solution offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for capabilities and solutions, design and coordination responsibility for service offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. Enterprise Solutions is one out of four groups within Solution Management.
