Based in Eskilstuna, our Client is active in the international market and is currently looking to recruit a Consultant Global Product Manager Chemicals. The position is stimulating and rewarding and for the right person there is a possibility of permanent employment.
Your Role
You will be a member of a team of ten with each team member being responsible for a different product group. Your area of responsibility will be oils and lubricants. A central part of your duties are the introduction of new chemicals. Your responsibilities include ensuring that the approved processes and processes are followed and deciding which chemical products should be updated. You will be required to make product global decisions. The position also requires you to assist other Regions with introduction/marketing of the product area. The role of Global Product Manager Chemicals requires you to have a good relationship with suppliers and other internal units. You should be a team player, a confident negotiator with exceptional communication skills and as Chairman, it is expected that you will lead your group.
Your Profile
You will have good knowledge of chemicals and be familiar with the base terms. An academic examination in the subject is a merit. You have experience of purchasing and negotiating, with the ability to build excellent working relationship with suppliers. You have good business acumen, experience in project coordination and are able to manage several tasks simultaneously. The ability to cope in a highly stressful environment is essential. You must be fully fluent in written and spoken English, as English is spoken even between colleagues at department level. Knowledge of Spanish and French are considered an advantage.
