hela Sverige Role Summary:We are searching for a Global Product Manager to join the Biacore team. The role involves both strategic and tactical direction for a product range targeting research customers globally in a manner that maximizes revenue for the company. The responsibility will also include Biacore training offerings globally.Essential Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the product(s) life cycle starting with understanding the market needs through development until the product is terminated, including pricing, marketing and supply chain related topicsDevelop GE's strategy in the product area, provide the commercial team with training and cooperate with the marketing team on messaging for the portfolioProvide sales, profitability and demand forecasts. Support the marketing and sales organization with appropriate actions to ensure maximum returnEnsure continued commercialization success for the product, including after sales support together with serviceDrive focused work around total cost of ownership model, value proposition and messaging with the marketing and commercial organizationCoordinate and ensure alignment of training and product priorities, and centrally driven commercial and marketing initiatives related to thisSupport sales development and training activities and enablement on behalf of the product segmentDefine and recommend value engineering of product redesign to extend the life cycle in collaboration with sourcing, R&D and manufacturingProvide input and prioritization to R&D on requirements for support, product care and research & development projectsOptimize inventory to ensure customer satisfaction, provide leadership to quality management and ensure competitiveness of the portfolio through proactively making cost reduction recommendationsFor more information about the position please contact Karin Tjärnlund +46 (0)18 612 00 22Last day to apply is June 7th.Qualifications/Requirements:Strong business sense and an interest in commercial aspects are essential components to be successful in this role University degree in Science or equivalent knowledge/experience Experience in product marketing, product development, or a related field with customer facing activities, preferably within the Life Sciences field Good knowledge in analytical technologies, preferably technologies for biomolecular interaction analysis Excellent oral and written communications skills Strong analytical and process skills - ability to absorb and handle complex information in a structured way and to communicate this information clearly Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment; team oriented - ability to work well with diverse, global and cross-functional teams Strong influencing skills - ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence Some traveling will be required Permit to work in SwedenDesired Characteristics:We are looking for a new team member with a strong drive and excellent communication skills to join our Biacore Product Management team. The person should have a passion to work with a global network of colleagues, and across functions, to develop great solutions for our customers across the globe. The position requires an ability to absorb and handle complex information in a very structured way and to communicate this information clearly across all levels of the company. The applicant should be able to handle many tasks simultaneously and have an ability to work under both time constraints and to a high level of rigor. The ability to work in teams is a clear requirement for success. Experience with Biacore systems and applications is desirable, but not a must. The position is based in Uppsala, Sweden.
