Mölnlycke Health Care is a world leading manufacturer of single-use surgical and wound care products and services for the professional health care sector.
An opportunity has arisen within the Surgical Division Performance Partners team as we are looking to recruit a Global Product Manager. This is an exciting opening for an ambitious and result oriented individual within Mölnlycke Health Care to be a central player in driving our business. The Performance Partners are the Surgical Divisions central marketing, product management, communications and training team. The Performance Partners mission is to “Serve those serving customers to achieve results”
As Global Product Manager for Surgical Solutions, you will start up and lead the MIS segment (Minimal Invasive Abdominal Surgery) amongst other surgical solutions such as orthopaedic. You will set the overall direction and lead the development and implementation of the designated solution marketing programs to deliver the strategic objectives as they relate to product line profitability, revenue growth, market share and customer satisfaction.
To be successful you will have to look for opportunities beyond our current product offering with a clear focus on value added selling, with the vision of achieving closer customer partnership. It is key that you interact with local and central key stakeholders in order to collect business intelligence and optimize development of customer oriented marketing strategies for surgical solutions.
You will also be responsible for developing a KOL (Key Opinion Leader) program throughout Europe and building a close network of key ambassadors in the market. Furthermore, you will be part of exploring and assessing future possible strategic partnership and co-marketing activities.
In addition, you will also outline a strategy for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) in order to have business rules in place when acting as component provider.
You will be part of an exciting, creative and motivated team with dedicated marketing people with a clear focus on integrating sales & marketing to achieve stellar results. The position reports to the Global Product Director, Surgical Division and is based in Gothenburg. Some travelling (appr. 4-6 days/month), mostly in Europe, is required.
Qualifications and personal qualities
You are customer focused with several years of experience in marketing and sales, preferably from the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Business. You need to have experience in building KOL relationships and we like you to have experience from project management and value added selling and marketing.
You are used to work in multicultural and multifunctional environments and you have a strong record in delivering results and taking ownership. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken and you probably have a university degree in Business/Marketing. You are a strong team player with good communication and networking skills. You are passionate about driving change, you have an open mind and the ability to motivate and inspire others. Finally you have strategic and analytical skills with a long term view.
