Mission

We are looking for a strategic oriented, motivated and result oriented person for the Global Product Manager position at the marketing department within the Rock Drilling Tools division.

Your main responsibility will be to develop and implement our strategy for the HRD (Hydraulic Rock Drill) product range, including market segmentation, planning of the product portfolio; both short and long term, prioritizing development, sales organization and proper branding.

A large part of your work will be also to develop the business with regards to increase the sales and maintain the product portfolio within the respective product group. You will work with our sales companies around the world to establish, plan and carry out marketing activities. An important part of your work is to establish product strategies which will serve as a base for our product development and future product portfolio. As this is a new product in our portfolio, an important part of the job will be to demonstrate the equipment at customer centers, as well as customer sites.

As Global Product Manager you will report to the Product Line Manager for Tophammer & Handheld equipment.

Job description

-Lead and develop the HRD product range at the Product Company to exceed customer satisfaction.

• Identify, develop and implement marketing strategies and provide continuous marketing support to the sales companies.

• Make sure that the divisional targets in terms of sales, consolidated profitability, positioning, market shares and customer's definition of value are continuously met.

• Analyze business developments, monitor market trends and competitor activities.

• Support Epiroc Customer Centers in major tenders, product application and in the provision of training in all aspects of the product.

• Acts as Product "Champion" liaising with Epiroc sales companies and the product company.

Experience requirements

We are looking for a person with the following profile;

• Experience of rock drilling and good product knowledge from mining and construction applications.

• Experience of international rock drilling business.

• Good knowledge of the English language (verbally and in writing), knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Power of initiative and a strong driving force.

• Technical background is a must.

• Energetic and result oriented and should act strategically.

• Willingness to travel on a frequent basis.
