As a Global Product Manager, Fiberboard you are responsible for application engineering and sales development within the Refiner Segment, Fiberboard business. You are supporting our customers together with Valmet sales network with your technical competence and are responsible for projects where the goal is to reduce our customers' production costs, improve fiber quality and optimize the defibration process.
Main focus in this position is to support our customers and potential customers in how they apply our products and technology. As a product and process specialist you will discuss and propose changes to our customers' processes and equipment to ultimate their benefits of our products and technology.
You will work closely together with our engineering department to develop new solutions and support our sales network with new product launches, application engineering and sales support.
Product Development within Refiner Segments, are also activities that you will be involved in.
Daily contacts with our customers and sales network is required, which means a high frequency of customer visits.
You will preferably be located in Stockholm but also other Valmet locations are possible.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have
• Technical education (MSc or BSc in Engineering)
• Knowledge and experience from the industry (at least 5 year)
• Customer orientation and business skills
• Good communication skills and ability to cooperate
• Willingness to travel and actively visit customers
• Excellent command of English is required and Swedish is a great benefit, both written and oral
