Your mission
In this position, you work closely with the Vice President of Strategy and Product Management and the product lines, delivering insightful analysis and action-focused performance measurement. You lead the strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting process for the function and the Product Lines, and you support the overall strategic planning and execution of Seco's strategy. You support the Product Lines to deliver long-term sustainable, profitable growth and return on capital employed by providing financial leadership. In addition, you work closely with the finance team in the division to make sure that a solid financial information flow is in place and is converted into impactful insights for the Product Line teams, for the function, and Seco.
Your role also includes delivering actions for performance measurement and management including KPI development and implementation. You conduct relevant and actionable analysis and to support the Product Line teams in driving a continuous range optimization in terms of profitability, revenue, and complexity, and you drive and support continuous improvement initiatives and cost efficiency management in the function.
In this challenging and exciting mission, you also ensure strong performance management in our various strategy programs as you participate in the shaping and manage follow-up on time, cost, and quality for our key strategic initiatives. In addition, by being actively involved in all major investment requests, you also provide relevant insights as the basis for approval decisions.
Your profile
We're looking for a commercially minded business controller with a relevant university degree. You like to work proactively in a leading position, and as you are agile and flexible, you also enjoy driving improvements and are not afraid of challenging existing ways of working. In addition, you're used to working in Power BI and the Office package, especially Excel, and it's a plus if you're familiar with M3 (ERP).
You're analytical, driven, and have a networking approach towards customers, colleagues, and other partners - and a professional approach with a high degree of integrity. Being reliable and trustworthy, consistently delivering on deadlines. Since we work in a global environment, it's a must to have excellent verbal and written English skills.
