As an important member of the Global Procurement organization you are responsible for collaborating with the relevant stakeholders and ensuring that procurement of goods/materials or services of your category are purchased in an efficient, professional and cost-effective manner in order to create and sustain a competitive advantage, thereby contributing to Oriflame profitability.
In the role as Global Procurement Category Manager you will be playing an instrumental role within the category, where you are expected to work efficiently with a large set of internal and external stakeholders. You will be exposed to complex negotiations with suppliers where you need to be able to structure your approach, act confidently and take decisions. As a manager of a team you are expected to possess great team building capabilities and leadership skills. To be successful you will need to be a great influencer, possess refined organisation skills and be at ease to work with lots of information and requirements from various internal stakeholders, often under tight timeframes. You will need to possess a positive outlook, manage change and being able to influence and get buy-in from key functions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Sourcing strategy: Develop and implement procurement commodity strategies. Sourcing, introduction and development of new suppliers. Build and maintain market knowledge of suppliers, cost drivers, competitors, market trends, product innovations and sustainability Develop the strategy and business cases for make or buy decisions.
SRM: Own the global supplier base for cosmetics finished goods. Keep track of the supplier performance management and contribute with continuous improvements. Responsibility for supplier sustainability targets and assessments, supplier contracts and risk management.
Stakeholder management: Work closely with the functional stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives and identify opportunities for increasing value to the commodities. Lead and prioritize workload for cross-functional supplier development team activities
Leadership: Lead the Global Finished Goods Cosmetics team. (2-3 direct report and dotted line reporting from India and China). Short and long-term development and empowering of team members, including setting yearly targets, regular follow ups on both target and capability achievements. Spend management: Own the global spend for finished goods cosmetics. Secure allocation of spend in alignment with sourcing strategy. Lead cost saving projects and yearly price negotiations with suppliers. Keep yearly standard costing of all spend and continuous procurement master data maintenance. Monitoring of savings on the category.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor Degree - minimum requirement (Masters and/or CIPS preferable)
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Procurement and/or extended Supply Chain or manufacturing environment
Proven track record of managing spend and suppliers with a complex and wide range of products with the highest quality standards
Working knowledge of multiple spend categories, e-procurement processes and systems
Very good presentation skills, both written and verbal
Experience from leading a team
Experience from cosmetics, food or FMCG industry is a plus
