hela Sverige Global Process Owner - Record to Report - Team member in the Global Finance Process team within Polestar Group Finance. We are now looking for our next colleague, based at Polestar HQ in Gothenburg
Working in the Finance Process development team gives a big opportunity to a wide circle of contacts within Polestar Group. Working both globally and cross-functional, as well as getting a comprehensive view of the financial activities within the group.
In this position you will need to be curious, enjoy challenges and complexity in finance processes but also in structures and information streams. You will need to collaborate and build networks within the organization as well as drive your own initiatives to ensure an effective process with qualitative accounting and financial compliance. You will work closely with the other Global Process Owners within the Group to secure the end-to-end process view when working on business initiatives or improvement areas.
What you 'll do
* Be the owner of the Record to Report processes globally and responsible to continuously strive to improve, develop and standardize processes.
* Responsible to develop and improve process flow documentation.
* Work closely with Polestar Digital Finance to drive system improvements and automatization of the Record to Report processes.
* Define and approve business requirements related to Record to Report processes.
* Review and approve business user acceptance testing for change proposals/requests which impacts Record to Report processes and systems.
* Be the owner of financial flows such as intercompany and related party flows.
* Support and contribute to projects within the Finance organization but also cross-functional
* Be the finance lead for new market establishments
* And other ad-hoc tasks
Who you are
To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:
* University degree in Finance
* At a minimum 5 years of relevant experience from similar position at an IFRS reporting company
* Strong knowledge in ERP systems, and especially its finance modules
* IFRS accounting knowledge
* Skilled in process development
* High level understanding of financial compliance - taxes, VAT, intercompany and related party transactions and reconciliations, local GAAP
