Process and IT at Volvo Buses is a department that is working cross functionally and globally. Chartered to deliver efficiency and quality through driving global P&IT strategy and implementations and key cross functional process improvement projects.
Process & IT Office
The Process & IT Office function within P&IT at Buses is responsible for:
• Process Management
• Project Portfolio Management
• Process & IT Long Term Plan and Roadmap
The organization manages the process demand defined by process owners and managers. It also governs both development project prioritization and process management evolution through Buses Process & IT decision bodies.
We are now looking for a Global Process Developer
Role mission & context
As a Global Process Developer, you will be a change agent working closely with the global process owners and managers with the task to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Buses operations.
You will on a daily basis interact with Process Owners and Process Managers who are senior executives in the company as well as other key individuals in the organization.
You will report to the Director P&IT Office.
Key responsibilities
• Provide expertise and coach in Process Management methods, tools and best practices in Process & IT Projects and other business improvement initiatives
• Drive business improvement initiatives e.g. pre-studies, projects, ad hoc analysis
• Mentor, coordinate and guide Process Developers on any levels or locations
• Mentor, coach and guide Process Managers on any levels in process design / documentation / implementation, process governance, interface design, measurement, analysis, architecture and continuous improvements
• Develop and perform Trainings in Process Management
• Collaborate with Volvo Group Process Community
• Govern, develop and maintain Standard Process Architecture and Methodology Framework
• Network with external stakeholders e.g. share best practices at Industry conferences

Wanted profile
As a Global Process Developer you need to have the ability to work efficiently and trustfully in day-to-day operations. You have proven experience as change agent (e.g. change manager, management consultant, business process developer or similar).
Since you are part of a global unit, with global responsibilities, you will need to actively cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment. It is important you have an innovative and creative mind-set in order to inspire and challenge the people you interact with. You also have a strong quality focus and strive to get things done.
Required competencies
You are a person skilled in driving change, have good understanding of process management and lean principles and have a strong personal drive. Experience from similar business positions in an international setting is an advantage.
We also see you have:
• Deep understanding in Process Management including Standard Process Architecture and Methodology Framework
• Deep understanding in Change Management
• Deep understanding in Lean Management principles
• Excellent coaching skills and ability to drive workshops
• Good understanding of interpersonal relationships and organizational behaviour
• Good communication and pedagogical skills
• Teamwork oriented
• Analytical and business oriented
• Relevant Degree (e.g. Business, Quality management, IT)
• F-amiliarity with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards
• Excellent language skills in English, both written and spoken
• Experience from Bus or Automotive industry is merit
