Description of your new challenge
You will in this position be part of the Aftermarket Parts Pricing Department within the Global Parts organization. In this position you will be globally responsible mainly for setting and maintaining recommended retail prices, resolving price complaints and representing pricing within global Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and aftermarket projects. Our product and price offers shall enhance the total experience of owning and operating Volvo construction equipment.
We seek a driven person with excellent numeric skills, a strong natural driving force and an interest for interaction with people in different positions and from different cultures. Strong analytical ability with proven knowledge in Excel/Access and IS/IT are important job skills.
Spare parts pricing experience from the construction or automotive industry is a strong preferred merit.
Main Responsibilities
• Price orientation by updating the pricing system GPPS with retail prices and product data
• Analyze, resolve price complaints/feedback and derive trends
• Support and manage day to day price requests from Global markets
• Price code classifications of our spare parts portfolios
• Represent the department in aftermarket projects
• Coordinate with regions to further develop price position
• Utilize Market competitive information available to stay ahead

Competences
• Relevant degree in Financial Engineering /Applied Mathematics or Business
• Customer focused and strong analytical skills to understand the true need of customers
• Self-motivated with a strong drive and able to manage time and prioritize work load
• Analytic and structured approach, able to handle large amount of numeric data
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in English written and spoken is required, other international languages are qualifying
• Strong track record of skills in Microsoft Office programs and IS/IT
• Project management experience is a merit
• Technical understanding of construction equipment machinery is a preferred merit
