Commercial Operations is dedicated business area providing Scania products and best service solutions to our customers located in more than 60 countries in the worldwide structure, being organized in 40 Business units belonging to the Regional structure based on the geographical location.
Ideal candidate
Strong business understanding, supporting strategy deployment whilst respecting local specific circumstances and diversity is the standard expectation of the candidates applying to the roles. Ideal candidate is Scania values ambassador, team player with the commercial mind-set, seeking for continuous improvements in the assigned areas of responsibility. Previous working experience in the market operations, ideally in an international and culturally diverse business environment, is seen as strong advantage in the selection process. Fluency in English is prerequisite for communicating in the role, any other language is of a great advantage.
The selected candidate must work strategically and adapt flexibly to changing circumstances to follow and support achievements of the set goals, following ethical principles, corporate values, and acting with integrity.
We are looking for Global People and Culture Area Manager for Commercial Operations with the responsibility in the following area
One of the crucial process in our organisation is the continuous work with top talents who are ready to take the drive in the future success and growth of Scania organisation, ensuring its leading position as the sustainable transport solution provider.
Main responsibilities of the role:
• Governing the delivery of the set strategy defined for the Talent Management process applying outside-in and in-side out approach
• Coordinating the Management and Succession planning process for Commercial business area - guiding and supporting local and regional organisations
• Organizing Talent events, such as Global Talent week or similar talent events, focused on key position placements in various business areas
• Establishing Development plan for indicated high potentials from the global talent events and the regular follow up
• Empowering development of the high potentials through development programmes (local, global), coordination of the nominations to the global Scania and Traton programmes under governance of Scania Academy
• Maintaining Global CO Talent pool of the high potentials, sharing the information in the right time in order to deliver supply of ready candidates for the key position placements
• Supporting the respective stake-partners during the decision making process for key position placements with the profiles, assessments and availability of the identified high potentials
• Organizing regular reviews of the Commercial Management and Succession planning and taking responsibility for the follow up on the actions needed
• Active search and selection of the potential key position role holders
• Participating in Scania process design for the area, contributing with the knowledge exchange about the existing processes in the various organisations (e.g. MySuccess process design, common Scania processes definitions representing CO structure)
