Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units. Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.

We are looking for:
a Global People and Culture Area Manager for Commercial Operations with the overall goal to create the best possible condition for Commercial Operations to Attract, Recruit & Retain its employees.

You will join a small agile People and Culture (P&C) team with a strong drive to deliver results and make an impact, with high levels of ambition and passion for our customers and employees. We work as a team in both strategic and operative parts of our P&C processes, challenging the current situation to find new and improved ways to support the operations.

You will:
take up the overall global responsibility for the Attract & Recruit Lead Area ensuring there is a clear strategy and delivery plan to support and improve the operations in connection to the area. This is achieved by collaborating with the Business Unit P&C Directors and our six Regional P&C Directors, pinpointing and establishing needs and prioritise. Working with the team and seeking out assistance from Corporate Departments and other Support Units. Make sure necessary actions are taken to fulfil the defined plan, follow up and evaluate the results.

This role is on a strategic level as well as highly operational. On a daily basis you change perspective from acting hands-on to setting long term goals and ensuring results are seen on a multitude of levels in the organisation. You work proactively to develop, implement and follow-up on P&C processes, policies and solutions on an overall level for:

• Employer Branding, Recruitment and Onboarding
• Retention and Talent Development
• Role Descriptions and Competence Management
• Scania's Challenge to attract, recruit and retain Technicians to our Service operations world-wide

We also expect you to be a driving part in the overall development of P&C at Scania and particularly regarding the lead area of your responsibility participating and contributing to the HR Transformation meetings, projects and initiatives.

We need someone who:

You achieve results through a clear strategy, goal-setting, and consistent follow up. You constantly look for possibilities to improve practice as part of a fast-changing business.

You should with ease work with and toward all levels of managers as well as collaborating and ensuring cooperation from Corporate Departments, Support Units and other partners who are key to progress the Attract & Recruit Area as well as working toward the overall goal of the Commercial Operations P&C organisation. A pre-requisite is to be fluent in English and to have an P&C related background and/or experience. Experience from a P&C position or similar at a Scania market is seen as a strong advantage.

Location:
The desired permanent location for this position is in Södertälje but there is some flexibility and we are open to discuss alternative solutions.
