To continue Axis success, we continuously need to ensure that our products and software are integrated into our partners' systems in a way that ensures our innovations get into the hands of our customers. This is where you come in! Partner Solutions in Lund is looking for a Global Partner Engineer to join our team.
Who is your future team?
Partner Solutions is part of the Products & Solutions organization, working closely with Axis products organization and R&D as well as with our key global partners to ensure that our hardware and software products get integrated in an optimal way.
We are a team of eight people in partner-facing roles, both partner engineers and partner managers, who work together with a big focus on bridging Axis with technology partners. Our focus is more on coordination, communication and information sharing than on software development.
Our team's technology partner landscape consists of a few large global companies that we work closely with, as well as a number of fast-growing companies developing cloud-based offerings.
How we work
Our team's main focus is to ensure strong integration between Axis offerings and partner systems, e.g. Video Management Systems, by
* Ensuring support for new hardware and software products
* Interoperability with Axis OS, our operating system for edge devices
* Orchestrating joint product and technology initiatives together with our partners
* Developing custom integrations
* Supporting partners that develop applications on the edge
Our responsibilities include partner management and servicing partners as well as a close collaboration with various stakeholders within Axis to share information, manage and facilitate R&D collaboration with selected partners.
What you'll do here as Global Partner Engineer?
You will truly be at the center of things, building relationships and networks to ensure that people involve you in partner-related discussions and decision. You will work closely with other team members in servicing our partners. The responsibilities of the role include:
* Own and drive the integration agenda towards selected partners
* Engage with internal product organization and R&D and others to align Axis with partner
* Regular communication with stakeholders both within Axis and partners' organizations
* Provide partner feedback to Axis Product Management organization
* Develop specialization within partner software and how it interfaces with Axis products
Who are we looking for/Who are you?
You must have a structured approach to your work, and handle stress well, as there are always many things going on in parallel. You are a self-starter with a drive to be of service and ensure we get the best possible solution in place together with our partners. You need strong technical skills so that you to become an expert in our partner's software solution, its architecture, how it integrates with Axis devices etc. We will see to it that you get certified.
We'd love to hear that you have/are
* Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree or similar
* Very good technical skills and understanding of edge devices, API's, software architectures
* Great problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude
* Curiosity to learn, challenging status quo and finding ways to improve how we work
* Strong time management skills and good energy
* Good verbal and writing skills in English as well as in Swedish
