A surveillance solution consists of many components and Axis delivers several of those, but not all. Instead we rely on an alliance of technology partners' products to fill the gap. The Partner Management team is responsible to make sure that Axis' and our partners' products work well together. As a Global Partner Engineer you will assist and drive this work towards our most important global partners. To be successful in this role you need to be skilled in a wide range of Axis products and technology areas, as well as partner software. Excellent communication skills are a requirement as well as a service oriented personality. Examples of tasks:
Deliver case driven technical support
Learn and master partner software
Assist in the integration agenda towards key partners
Arrange technical workshops and seminars, both internally and externally
Provide partner feedback to Axis ' Product Management organization
Visit customer sites to troubleshoot complex problems
The position involves travelling around 25 days a year.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a driven, hands-on, problem solver with a solid interest in technology. We believe you have a technical degree in software development or similar.
You have at least 5 years of working experience, primarily working directly with customers or partners and have good knowledge in software development in C and/or C#.
Furthermore, experience from testing and product evaluation is a great benefit. You have an open attitude towards customers, colleagues and new ideas. You also communicate excellent in English, both written and verbal. Experience with embedded devices in network environments and creating training material is also an advantage.
The Solution Management organization
Solution Management is part of the product organization and globally responsible for Axis' software and service offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for system functions and software, design and coordination of service and support offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters.
