We are responsible for providing global mobility services and solutions to the Volvo Group. We serve as trusted business advisors and provide global mobility related administration and expertise for long-term and short-term international assignments and consultative advice for cross border transfers.
As the global subject matter expert and the manager of our EMEA team your ability to inspire and communication skills will be what's most important. You will manage the day to day IMS EMEA operations and also develop, coach, and support all of us to secure operational excellence where efficiency and customer focus are always is on top. You will use your deep specialist knowledge in areas such as expatriate compensation, taxation, pension, global insurance, social security, relocation, immigration and legal requirements.

Your responsibilities include
• Provide consultative advice to internal partners to secure optimal delivery of global mobility services
• Manage the operational procedures associated with the administration of international assignments
• Lead and coordinate the development and implementation of processes, policies, tools and guidelines
• Perform complex case investigations and resolution of escalations. Manage and track exceptions
• Work together with IMS colleagues to resolve complex or sensitive issues. Actively work with high level stakeholders assuring delivery efficiency
• Consult, participate and support in strategic projects and initiatives, including giving feedback on global / country requirements
• Plan and manage the budget for IMS EMEA
• Deliver on HR Services and IMS targets and KPIs
• Benchmark, monitor and share global mobility trends
• Be an HR Services role model in terms of wanted culture and behavior
• Drive the change needed to support the Volvo Group.

Educational requirements and preferred experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, a related field or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years of Human Resources experience (if degree is not in Human Resources)
• Proven successful leader of international teams
• At least 5 years of experience in the global mobility field
• Familiarity with interfaces between global mobility process and local payroll, finance and Human Resources processes
• Fluency in English is required and additional languages are a merit .e.g. Swedish
