The global mobility function supports the management of employee movement across the globe. The role
In this position, you will support the Global Mobility Team in the assignment process for a wide population of expatriates and project workers in line with ABB's global and local mobility policies and philosophy.
In this diversified position your tasks include taking on responsibility for assignment management for shorter and longer assignments. This includes understanding appropriate regulations, and ensuring ABB's global policies and guidelines are followed. Further, the role involve high level contract work and manage expectations, alongside maintaining relationships with key stakeholders involved in the assignment process, such as HR Business Partners, line managers, 3rd party providers and your Global Mobility colleagues around the world. Teamwork is very important in this position, where you will also assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks, as required and help to ensure that all workloads are covered.
The candiate
This position is ideal for a confident individual who has an HR degree and preferably working experience within HR on an international level. IT skills and the ability to process data to report are important. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required, while knowledge in additional languages is advantageous. You must possess good communication skills and be comfortable working within an international environment and across diverse cultures. You enjoy work that is complex and detailed in nature and have good organizational skills. Thus, you are focused on delivery and possess the ability to work towards tight deadlines. The position also requires that you are able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
