Global Mobility Specialist

Corporate Human Resources supports local HR-departments who in turn supplies Scania with qualified and dedicated employees that can grow with the company. By creating framework and standards with a proactive and constructive approach Corporate Human Resources is working with a focus on business driven HR.

Executives Compensation & Benefits is one of the four defined areas that operate within Corporate HR. The other three areas are: Scania Academy, Labour Affairs and HR Support/Safety Health and Environment.

Executives Compensation & Benefits is divided into Executive Compensation, Compensation and Benefits and Global Assignments. As a global mobility specialist you will be working at Global Assignments and reporting to Rim Borén, manager at Global Assignments

Job description

In this position, you will manage the global assignment process for a wide population of expatriates in line with Scania's global mobility policies. In short, you will be the single point of contact for the assignee, HR and managers to provide advice in the management of the assignment within Scania. Providing support and advice to both the assignee and the business, this role is key to the coordination of global mobility activities. One of your primary tasks will be to produce all related paperwork and support documentation, such as cost projections and salary calculations. Further, it will be your responsibility to ensure that the assignment process is effectively monitored and complies with laws and regulations.

Teamwork is very important for this job, where you will assist in projects and tasks, as required, and support other members of the team to ensure all workloads are covered. Besides, you will support counter-parts in the Global Mobility Function worldwide in managing assignments as well as develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders involved in the assignment process, such as other HR stakeholders and third party providers.

Job requirements

We are looking for a confident individual who is able to establish and maintain business relationships at varying levels of seniority. You have a minimum of three years of HR experience, preferably with experience in managing global mobility matters. You preferably have experience from working with salary review. In addition to solid work experience, you have a university degree in either HR, Business, law or equivalent.

Good IT skills in Excel and the ability to process data to report on trends and common themes are essential. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required, while knowledge in german and additional languages is an advantage.

You must possess good communication skills and be comfortable working within an international environment and across diverse cultures. You enjoy work that is complex and detailed in nature and have good organizational, planning and decision-making skills. Thus, you are focused on delivery and possess the ability to work towards tight deadlines. The position also requires that you are able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive Information. When it comes to communication you need to be fluent in Swedish and English and have good communicative skills.
