hela Sverige You will be part of the Global Mobility Team in Västerås. The global mobility function supports the management of employee movement across the globe. We achieve this by providing specialist knowledge and expertise to deliver development opportunities, solutions, advice, compliance and risk mitigation to our employees and the business. We support this mission statement at both a country and a regional level, within the Northern Europe Region and across ABB. Global Mobility is part of the HR Center Sweden, located in Västerås. The HR Center provides staff services to all business units within ABB Sweden.
Challenge: In this position, you will manage the assignment process for a wide population of expatriates in line with ABB?s global mobility policies and philosophy. In short, you will act as a case manager and be the single point of contact for the assignee to provide advice in the end-to-end management of their individual assignment within the ABB Group. Providing support and advice to both the assignee and the business, this role is key to the coordination of global mobility activities. One of your primary tasks will be to produce all related paperwork and support documentation, such as cost projections and standard salary calculations. Another task will be to monitor the duration of the assignment and its status to ensure assistance is provided with repatriation, extensions or localization, all in accordance with ABB Group policy. Further, it will be your responsibility to ensure that the assignment process is effectively monitored and complies with ABB internal regulations.
Teamwork is very important for this job, where you will manage or assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks, as required, and support other members of the team to ensure all workloads are covered. Besides, you will support counter-parts in the Global Mobility Function worldwide in managing assignments as well as develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders involved in the assignment process, such as other HR stakeholders, talent management and 3rd party providers.
Requirements: We are looking for a confident individual who is able to establish and maintain business relationships at varying levels of seniority. You have a minimum of two years of HR experience, preferably with experience in managing global mobility matters. In addition to solid work experience, a university degree in Administration or equivalent is desirable. Good IT skills and the ability to process data to report on trends and common themes are essential. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required, while knowledge in additional languages is advantageous. You must possess good communication skills and be comfortable working within an international environment and across diverse cultures. You enjoy work that is complex and detailed in nature and have good organizational, planning and decision-making skills. Thus, you are focused on delivery and possess the ability to work towards tight deadlines. The position also requires that you are able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
