hela Sverige Akzo Nobel is now looking for a Global Marketing Manager, Hair Styling
Your job is to define and deliver a fully integrated marketing strategy to meet the needs of the market segments. This includes competitor analysis, product portfolio management incl overseeing our innovation efforts and communication strategies.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Define and execute the plan to deliver the marketing strategy and execute a customer/market segmentation strategy incl. value proposition and go-to-market channel management for a product portfolio in the hair styling segment
• Stimulate and support the sales team s by sharing market, customer and competitor?s information.
• Identify existing markets , potential markets and competitors
• Provide marketing plans, PR materials and map all relevant exhibitions and support the sales managers to develop new prospects.
• Define and assess market opportunities to optimize profitability.
• Within the approved marketing strategy ensure customer communications are prioritized against available opportunities to maximize ROI
• Work with customers, R&D and Sales to create profitable new products to help meet growth objectives
• Work together with RD&I, Sales and other key supporting functions to ensure efficient and effective product launches
• In conjunction with segment leaders develop compelling customer value propositions
You need to show a high degree of understanding of our innovation processes and to integrate the needs of the market with our ability to deliver new products to market. It is required that you are financially aware, you can view other business needs and thus maximize customer impact.
With responsibility for a diverse portfolio of brands, some highly technical, others more in tune with consumer needs and emotions, you has to demonstrate strong business acumen and work effectively to create and sustain genuine empathy with our diverse sales force.
You will also act as role model for corporate values, AkzoNobel business principles and standards both inside and outside the business unit. We value safety and also require you to act as role model for safe behavior both individually and for colleagues.
Job requirements/Candidate profile
• Master/academic, Master of Business Administration degree preferred
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in chemical or consumer goods marketing
• Fluency in English, and skills in other relevant languages a plus
• Experience in marketing of specility chemical or Personal Care is preferred
• Experience in innovating, marketing and PR processes
• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills
• Comfortable working across global cultures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, listening, influencing, entrepreneurship, result oriented, proven problem solving abilities and strong business acumen
• Excellent project management capabilities
• Experience in sales or sales management a plus
• Experience with typical stage and gate processes
