Sandvik Tooling Supply Order To Delivery (OTD) is globally responsible for the complete information and physical flow of products from order entry until the parcel is delivered to the customer. This includes a number of IT solutions and three regional Distribution Centers around the world. We are now looking for a Global Order Management Process and System Coordinator located in Sandviken.
Key performance areas
As Global Order Management Process and System Coordinator within Tooling Supply Distribution (TSD) you will be responsible for the OTD process in Tooling, together with a group of very dedicated and professional people. Your network outside the department will include Distribution Centers, global user representatives from sales and PA HQ?s, Tooling Supply, various parts of Sandvik IT Services and other process owners within Tooling, such as product management and pricing.
Your main tasks include:
• Participating in discussions with user representatives on process development and possible new functionality
• Responsibility for identifying and prioritizing system development and maintenance, based on potential process improvements
• Leading smaller projects and conducting planning and follow up
• Specifying and conducting acceptance testing of delivered software along with user representatives
• Participating in and/or supporting implementation activities
• Supporting key users and development of the support process is a vital part of the role
• Performing business or strategic investigations in relation to concerned processes
• Contributing to documentation and education activities
• Contributing to overall coordination of processes and the relevant IT-systems within OTD
You may also need to deal with various import, export and customs issues.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with relevant education for this position and previous working experience. General IT knowledge is essential, preferably in combination with an understanding of how business and IT interact. Experience and skills from working in projects is a requirement. To succeed in this position you need to be a good communicator and have good skills in both written and spoken English.
