About the role

As Global Learning & Development Manager, your overall objective is to ensure that performance and employee L&D targets are aligned with the company vision and goals. To reach that objective, your tasks include creating an L&D strategy, processes and activities that enable employees, teams and managers obtain the skills and training necessary to meet their goals. In other words, the L&D strategy ensures that each individual and team within the organization has the right tools to grow, learn and develop as we as a company are growing.

Your focus will cover all departments, from sales and installers to tech and management, on a global and local scale as well as being responsible for our new global LMS. You will continue to develop the current L&D training programs with our sales and installation departments as well as work with the remaining departments, from ideation to execution.

You report directly to the Global Chief HR Officer and work closely with our global and local management and HR teams.

Some of your tasks and responsibilities

• Creating and executing on L&D strategies across all departments, globally and locally.
• Lead the design and implementation of training programs, workshops, e-learning and coaching.
• Assess and identify current development needs and potential skill gaps as well as strategize and implement action plans on how to bridge those gaps.
• Ensure managerial buy-in and employee commitment through successful presentation, internal marketing and implementation of strategies and activities.
• Guide global and local managers on the L&D strategy; provide guidelines, plans and tools.
• Develop and implement performance management processes, including structures for performance reviews, appraisals and feedback.
• Lead and manage personnel within the learning and development department and liaise with L&D Leads across the organization.

To succeed in the role, we believe that you

• Are passionate about individual and collective learning; how to support employees and managers in making the most of learning opportunities within an organization.
• Have experience from a similar L&D position or consultancy assignment, preferably in a high-growth company on a global scale.
• Have experience in rolling out a L&D strategy, program or set of activities, from ideation to implementation.
• Have up-to-date knowledge of cutting-edge methods of learning, e-learning platforms and programs.
• Enjoy working both strategically as well as operatively with implementation.
• Are business-minded and understand what it means to be a part of a high-growth company; if something's missing, you're not afraid to pitch, create and implement it.
• Describe yourself as agile, collaborative, driven and preferably even entrepreneurial.
• Have a university degree in business, human resources, or any other relevant field.
• Are fluent in English (a requirement) and perhaps in additional languages too (a big plus!).
