hela Sverige Atlas Copco Business Area Mining and Rock Excavation Technique (MR) will future increase their focus on improving the supplier management for IS/IT area (applications, infrastructure, etc.).
We are therefore looking for a Global Lead Buyer IT with the mission and ambition to develop/build-up a global key supplier base for IS/IT with the focus on improve applications availability, improve the risk mitigation and optimize the cost.
This positions reports to the MR Purchasing Council Chairperson, but will also get Mission input and work closely with Vice President IS/IT MR.
The main mission will be to:
• Support the overall MR Sourcing strategy and the MR IS/IT strategy in the growth ambition and to achieve efficiency
• Maintain an effective working relationship with MR Global IT and MR Regional/Local companies to ensure successful implementation of the sourcing strategy and optimize TCO.
• Focus on critical IS/IT applications and manage and review current IS/IT agreements
• Re-negotiation
• Risk mitigation
• Supplier management
• Review/Re-negotiation of existing group application due to the split
• Support new IS/IT projects in strategic purchasing, negotiations, etc.
• Create a standard way of managing IS/IT agreements in BA MR
• Support application owners and application managers (AMB & AMIT)
• Secure the supplier base fulfils the corporate governance standards, including environmental and ethical standards, of the Atlas Copco group
• This position requires travelling.

Educational and experience requirements:
• University degree with some years of experience from strategic sourcing, IS/IT applications management and project management.
• The ideal candidate should also have a strong customer focus and a solid supply chain understanding.
• Good command of English (verbal and written) is a must.
• Personality requirements and Core Competencies:
We are looking for a dynamic and result oriented person with an openness to changes and who works pro-actively. In order to be successful, you must have a high level of personal drive and strong analytical skills. This position requires very strong communication skills to negotiate with suppliers, work effectively via teleconferences with global team members, and work closely with local colleagues, and present performance results to upper management.
You have a great ability to work in teams and good leadership skills.
