Role description
As Global Indirect Tax Manager you will be part of the Group Tax & Internalization Team, which currently consists of 5 team members, and you will report to the Director, Head of Global Tax and International expansion. As Global Indirect Tax Manager you will work operationally in a strategic area. You will be responsible for ensuring indirect tax and VAT/GST for our current and new companies, currently we have 35 legal entities and operate on +75 markets.
Manage specific indirect tax functions, including compliance and reporting
Quality assurance of declarations
Set up new Indirect Tax structures in Microsoft AX 2009 as well as our new ERP D365
Responsible for correct calculation of VAT/GST for specifc entities
Support mergers and acquisitions on all matters referring to indirect tax exposure analyses, remediation, and integration
Support the monthly and quarterly close process including the preparation of indirect tax journal entries and indirect tax account reconciliations
Global single point of contact for authorities on all indirect tax matters as well as audits.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree, with emphasis in accounting, finance or law
7+ years of experience relevant tax experience
Solid understanding of EMEA VAT and International Indirect Taxation
Experience from international transactional-intensive business and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical skills; detail oriented
Ability to explain indirect tax concepts to business team with non-tax technical background
Highly effective communication skills (verbal and written)
