We are experts in supplier relationship, stakeholder engagement and process execution. Supplier relationships are value - not price - driven, investing time with preferred suppliers. We know all our stakeholder needs, establish long-term, value driven relationships and earning a seat at the table with our key stakeholders. The value based sourcing process is a process covering strategic sourcing, supplier relationship and procure-to-pay. It is a circular process allowing for value capture over time evin if purchasing is involved late in the sourcing process. We focus on innovation, quality and development of, long-term relationships with our strategic suppliers. Sustainability and continuous improvement are the elements that are underpinning our relationships.With the value-based-sourcing initiative we drive, through the involvement of key suppliers in the development stage, globally harmonized technical and commercial solutions. By co-designing suppliers production process and the component we want guarantee the best-in-class quality, cost and flexibility for our customers globally. As we operate in an international and competitive environment, Purchasing is sometimes quite challenging. We rely on our well-developped social skills and good set of technical or financial attributes to get us through the day.We are offering a long-term, full-time position as Controlling Manager Business Performance, Global PurchasingObjectives:Lead the function of Global Purchasing Controlling & Business Performance (but not limited to):· Planning; consolidation and analysis of the purchasing result (savings in direct material as well as indirect material) as well as the functional costs to ensure that global purchasing targets are met in these areas· Drive and execute financial planning and strategic plans coordinating with the global product lines as well as the global commodities controlling· Prepare and analyze global purchasing comprehensive Balanced Score card and run the periodic performance reviews· Be a trusted advisor with the analytical and fact based input with a business mindset· Ad-hoc analyses as neededKey operational responsibilities:· Reporting management· Consolidate the Direct Material reports on a PL level (actuals, budgets, expected),IM on commodity level including ocean logistics · Deviation analysis together with commodity managers and factory controllers· Follow up macro- economic developments impacting the business· Lead the periodic financial & business reviews with CPO · Drive the annual budget and periodic forecasts as well as the strategic planning· Functional costs follow up and reporting· Alignment of definitions and methods for Purchasing results between different entities· Raw Material analysis· Payment term reporting· Project Management key initiatives (e.g. Hedging; Supplier Finance; Policy updates)· Be a business partner to the PL head to drive strategic initiatives· Lead a team of the controllersReporting to: Director, Finance & Business Solutions. Global Purchasing Competencies needed:· Financial, economics or engineering education - 7 years minimum experience in a finance position. (preferably in a plant / operations and on a global level in purchasing function)· Good understanding of Direct Material (transaction) flow within a plant / company· Self-starter who can work effectively with minimal supervision· Capable of setting priorities, meeting deadlines with strong initiative and decision making, problem solving and analytical skils, with attention to details and accuracy· Ability to think and operate on a strategic level· Ability and desire to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment· Leadership skills, proven track record in managing a diverse team· Excellent communication skills and Reporting/Synthesis capability Required languages: English, any other language is an advantage
