Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for our next Global Business Line HR manager to lead and develop our People Strategy for the Business Line. We run an exciting OEM business in the mining segment where we deliver complete Hoisting Solutions and lifecycle services to the mining Industry around the world. In this role you will lead the strategical priorities for people and culture across countries and markets to ensure world class employee experience and by that the achievement of performance targets. In this position, you play a pivotal role for the entire global business line management team in supporting all aspects of the business and driving our safety, integrity, and people culture to the next level.
The role reports to the global Business Line manager, with functional reporting to Division HR Manager, and is part of the global business line management team. We are a highly energized and fast paced team with high expectations on performance and results. We believe that having fun at work is critical for our joint results. • Act as a partner for BL management, LBL managers and Local HRBP 's to understand how to support the business and resolve issues through people and leadership practices, both long- and short term.
• Develops and drive the People Strategy in collaboration with the Business and functional leaders to achieve the BL objectives.
• Continuously develop and refine leadership practices in collaboration with HRBPs and leaders, focusing on enhancing employee engagement, retention and improving business performance. This includes but are not limited to inclusion and diversity, talent acquisition, competence planning, talent management, remuneration etc.
• Coaches and develops leaders, demonstrate courage to take necessary staffing decisions. Actively contribute to nurture a high-performance and diverse team.
• Accountable for total HR offering to business leveraging Functional Expertise and demonstrating strong collaboration with other Business Line HR and functional experts.
• Supports the business with relevant HR strategies, policies, procedures, target-setting, planning, follow-up and setting up the tools and thought leadership covering the HR field.
• Facilitates and ensures success of change management initiatives across area of responsibility.
• Monitors performance, identifies issues, and develops action plans to support the business in meeting financial goals where HR and People impacts require attention.
• Ensures compliance with legislation, HR policies and other compliance standards in all areas of responsibility.
• Assign and coordinate HR investigations in the Business Line according to the applicable framework, run the most complex/sensitive ones yourself with the support of the Division HR and Legal resources.
Qualifications for the role
University degree in business, HR or other relevant discipline.
5+ years of experience in HR function in Generalist roles including Business Partnering in industrial companies with remote / multi-country business.
Proven ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders at senior level combining a strong customer service focus with capacity to constructively challenge, in-fluence and persuade.
Strategic orientation with business acumen to lead and drive organizational value creation through people strategies.
Global mindset, intercultural sensitivity, and willingness to travel internationally.
Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken).
Currently located in Sweden (preferably Västerås) since the position also holds responsibility for the Local Business Line in the country.
