Volvo Cars is a company on a mission; to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable and smart future. Since 1927, we have been a brand known for our commitment to safety, creating innovative cars that make life less complicated for our consumers. In 2010, we decided to transform our business, resulting in a totally new generation of cars and technologies, as well as steady growth and record sales. Today, we're expanding our global footprint in Europe, China and the US, and we're on the lookout for new talent.
We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars' journey into the future.
The role
We are a human centric company. Our culture is at the heart of everything we do. The automotive industry is going through its biggest transformation journey ever - the future is electric, autonomous, and online with groundbreaking technologies and new innovative business models.
We are on a journey, and to succeed with our ambitious targets, we need a diverse and inclusive organization to boost innovation and take lead in the industry. You now have an exciting opportunity to join us at Volvo Cars People Experience (PX/HR) as Global Head of Culture, Inclusion and Diversity.
In this role you will be the strategic leader, executive thought partner and activator who will lead culture, diversity, and inclusion efforts across the organization.
* You will be responsible for the vision and global strategy, to plan and activate global initiatives, develop, and deliver development programs and to review and assess the impact and effectiveness of these initiatives and programs.
* You continuously interact and communicate with many different internal and external stakeholders, including executive management, business PX (HR), marketing & brand, recruitment, and people analytics to mention just a few.
Based on current and emerging developments/trends and current performance you will develop and implement specific corporate objectives, and business plans to align initiatives with business strategies. The definition and use of data and analytics will be even more important in the coming years, where metrics focusing on the workplace, workforce, and employer branding will be key.
During the last couple of years, we have, in collaboration with Digital, developed an agile way of working (SAFe) for our strategic initiatives within People Experience. We work in self-organizing teams that through iterative planning and prioritization deliver high and continuous business value.
You will be part of the Leadership & Culture product team, located in Global Development & Delivery (GDD). GDD is an organization within People Experience that drives the strategy, development, implementation, and operation of the global people products in the areas of talent management, people data and analytics.
The Person

* You find passion in leading a diverse and global network, and you are inclusive and known for creating an open and trusting environment.
* You bring great strategic and holistic skills. You are excellent at translating business needs into vision, strategy, and business case, and you enjoy leading the strategy into tangible results.
* You package, brand and communicate the vision and strategy of how to get there in a way that creates clarity and inspires the company to get to action!
