In this role you will be responsible for the operational handling and follow-up of a portfolio of ocean customers. You will interact directly with customers to build and strengthen relationships, coordinate cargo bookings, and conduct analysis to help customers maximize C.H. Robinson's technology offerings. This role encompasses the issuing of import transportation documents, building vendor relationships, customer service to internal and external customers, agents and offices worldwide.

Upon starting with C.H. What will you be doing?
• Coordinate cargo bookings and shipment needs
• Understand each assigned customer's business model and how that applies to logistics needs
• Respond to office inquiries and follow-up to ensure issue resolution
• Collaborate with support staff, overseas offices and other third parties to ensure efficiency, continued exemplary customer service, and relationship development
• Understand and input applicable financial components of shipments for proper billing of shipments
• Prepare and review routine reports
• Ensure adherence to customer SOP's, government agency regulations, and C.H. Robinson company standards
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned
What are we looking for?
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role within forwarding
• Experience with issuance of documentation such as Bills of Lading
• Knowledge about Incoterms
• Knowledge and experience with customs procedures and formalities
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Excellent over all communication and customer service skills
• Native/fluent English speaker with good communication skills in
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and using the internet
• Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics and or International Business a plus
• Hands on mentality, eager to learn, prepared to walk the extra mile
