Business Office is responsible for Finance, IT, Corporate Governance, Strategy and Security within Volvo Penta, all staff employed in Sweden with a global responsibility.
The Finance department currently consists of 10 persons being globally responsible for Business Control, Financial Planning & Analysis, Credit Management, Liquidity & Investment control and Processes and Projects.
The function Global Financial Process Management is the biggest part of the Finance department, today consisting of 5 persons, covering Finance expertise and involvement in all main Volvo processes as well as having the responsibility for Standard Costing, Transfer prices, BI reporting and Business development.
As a Global Financial-Legal Process Manager you will be coordinating legal matters relating to Volvo Penta business flows such as VAT, transfer prices and other issues from a legal company perspective. You will in this role also participate and be responsible for the financial legal area in various projects.
You will participate in and/or drive projects representing the global Business Control function within Volvo Penta. You will be representing Volvo Penta, and therefor expected to act as the expert in matters related to VAT, taxes, business flows etc.
Your natural stakeholders will be, in addition to the commercial side of Volvo Penta, other entities within the Volvo group as well as external parties such as tax- and customs authorities, insurance companies.
The Global Financial-Legal Process Manager reports to the VP & Head of Finance with tasks coordinated by the Director Global Financial Process Management.

Required Qualifications:
A university degree in Law or Finance and Business Administration
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the areas of Swedish as well as international VAT and other legal matters related to international trade, i.e. transfer prices, trade barriers etc.
Experience from defining and designing internal and external business flows from a legal perspective
Proven experience on delivering timely results
Beneficial if the applicant has knowledge of finance models of larger industrial companies.
Having experience from insurances is beneficial
Fluent in English
