You will be part of the global FACTS organization of Grid Integration, which develops grid connected solutions comprising high and medium voltage apparatus, FACTS and battery energy storage systems and HVDC. The team operates globally through ABB worldwide offices.
FACTS Care is the fast growing, high potential service business at ABB Power Grids division, FACTS Customer Service Unit. We are now looking for yet another team member who is a driver personality, eager to reach results and look at challenges as an opportunity to excel and move forward. The Care Sales Manager will be responsible for FACTS Care concept and sales globally.

The FACTS technology enables power system owners to increase capacity within existing power systems. As a result, greater amounts of power reach customers with minimal environmental impact and at lower investment costs. The FACTS unit in Västerås pioneered this technology, and remains the market leader in developing and selling this ground-breaking technology to customers worldwide.

This role involves extensive contact with customers, suppliers, and local ABB companies around the world. The strong international element to this position will provide the successful candidate with significant career development.

In this challenging role, your key responsibilities will be the development of the FACTS Care Sales and promotion of the concept globally, primarily by meeting existing and potential customers, and expanding your contact network internationally.

In close cooperation with customers and local ABB units, you will create, follow and track sales opportunities for FACTS Care.

You will take full global responsibility for FACTS Care Sales, Business Development and improvement of supporting processes. The FACTS Care Sales manager is expected to continuously develop the market strategy and market plan. The role means also that you are the primary communication channel to customers and local ABB units worldwide.

You preferably have an engineering degree or similar, and several years' professional experience in electric power products or power systems. However, extensive industry experience may compensate for a lack of formal qualifications. Documented sales experience, or familiarity with FACTS or HVDC applications would be considered advantageous.

You enjoy working as part of a team to achieve targets, and you readily develop processes and concepts. The ability to combine technical, commercial, and legal terms would also support your application.

Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of other languages would be advantageous. You are highly customer focused, and you have an entrepreneurial ability which makes you willing to take the initiative. You are skilled at developing relationships, highly energetic, and adept at managing stress.
