The position
Our mission is to, together with other parts of the Roxtec group, provide support and create solutions that meet our customers' needs, create value and in the long run generate loyal regular customers.
As our global environment specialist, you support our colleagues at Roxtec entities in Europe, Asia, and the US to fulfill the requirements from a legal perspective, including our environment permits, and towards our customers. You secure that we have the suitable level of global processes and ways of working to continuously reduce our environmental impact. You support our customers and suppliers in their environmental work. With your knowledge, you are a natural part of the Roxtec sustainability work and will contribute to different initiatives and in the yearly reporting.
At our premises in Karlskrona, Sweden, you support the organization in the continuous improvement of our environmental work and are responsible for the environmental management system which has been certified according to ISO 14001 for many years. The assignment also includes being responsible for the contact with authorities concerning, among other things, inspections, reports, and different permits.
You will be a part of the internal audit team and perform internal audits.
The post of employment is at the headquarters in Karlskrona. Since we have production in Europe, Asia and the US, travels are a natural part of the work.
Background
You have a university degree within environment or similar, and several years of experience in environmental work in a global industry. You are a driven employee with a passion for environment and production and you enjoy working in a high-pace environment. You are flexible, curious, positive towards changes and customer-oriented as well as creative. You also have a strong will when it comes to solving problems and responding to questions that may occur.
Work tasks are often performed in a global environment and in close cooperation with others, which means that your professionalism is in focus. It is therefore necessary that you enjoy teamwork, that you are humble, and that you communicate and cooperate with ease.
It is a benefit if you have experience as internal auditor.
Since we are an international enterprise with local companies around the world and this position has contact with every operational site, it is important that you can understand and enjoy working with different cultures.
