Your mission
As a Global DevOps Team Lead at Epiroc, you will:
* Be a part of our Digital Development team, dedicated to providing development teams with the tools they need to innovate efficiently.
* Interact with our development teams around the world, ensuring we base our recommendations and decisions on a good understanding of the day to day needs of the teams.
* Stay at the forefront of DevOps tools and processes, ensuring the adoption of best practices across the organization.
* Maintain consistent and well-managed DevOps tools and processes to streamline our development efforts.
* Support development teams in implementing new skills such as:
* AI assistant tools like GitHub Copilot
* Static code analysis
* License scanning of third-party libraries
* Vulnerability scanning of third-party libraries
* Secret scanning on the code base
* Evaluate future DevOps tools and processes, e.g. Microsoft DevBox, GitHub CodeSpaces, and other emerging technologies.
* Represent Epiroc in matters related to DevOps with our suppliers.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is organized, independent, and thrives on structure. You should be customer-oriented and service-minded, with a strong desire to empower developers. You should hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, accompanied by relevant Azure certifications. A passion for enabling developers to create outstanding solutions for our customers is essential. You must have solid experience in DevOps, including designing and implementing strategies for collaboration, code, infrastructure as code, security, compliance, continuous integration, testing, delivery, monitoring, and feedback. Additionally, a good understanding of Agile and Lean methodologies, along with the ability to design, build, test, and maintain cloud applications and services, is crucial. Since our corporate language is English, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
Location and travel
The preferred locations for this position are Stockholm or Örebro, Sweden.
