The main responsibility of the Forecasting team is to predict and manage future demand of products displayed in our catalogues, across 4 regions and in more than 60 countries. The forecasted demand plans are fed as input to the supply chain and the objective is to produce and ship product quantities that will match the actual demand in the best possible way. There are approximately 60 people working with forecasting and demand planning in Oriflame world-wide.
As a Global Demand Planning Coordinator you will be reporting to the Global Demand Planning Manager and be a part of the Global Forecasting team located in Stockholm. Your main area of responsibility will be to deal with what we call constrained demand planning. This is a new area under development in Oriflame, with the purpose of balancing the forecasted demand with available supply, and identifying gap-closing activities. The main objective is to avoid stock-outs or built-up of excess inventory. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play an important role in the work of balancing forecasted demand and supply, and thereby maximizing customer satisfaction and company profitability.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a fast learner with highly developed analytical capabilities and good conclusion-drawing skills. You should be eager to learn and to help driving and managing change of processes, working routines and behaviors. We expect you to have strong academic records and a high level of computer literacy. We also believe that you are well organized, methodical and thorough with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
You have an academic degree with Bachelor as a minimum. Previous experience in an analytical function or in a supply- or demand planning environment is meriting.
