hela Sverige We are looking for a Demand Planner to AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals, Levasil Colloidal Silica. If you want to work in an international environment where people and business are growing, this is the place for you!
You will have an important role in our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). The responsibility involves consolidate the demand requirements and match them with the production capacity of our eight plants located in China, Taiwan, Germany, Sweden, USA and Brazil. This helps us balance supply and demand, close gaps between those two, increase utilization flexibility in our plants as well as improve the service towards our customers.
You will be required to facilitate the forecasting and demand planning process across all Levasil Colloidal Silica regions; EMEA, Asia, China, North America, and Latin America.
Main tasks:
• Responsible for compiling and consolidating the input of data required for the demand forecasting
• Generate statistical forecasts in Arkieva and set the most adapted forecasting model per product and customer group
• Prepare the monthly consolidation of the global demand forecast for the plants in the global view
• Responsible for sending invitations to S&OP meetings and prepare presentations with graphical analysis of customers and products
• Support Global Demand Manager in expediting the monthly global S&OP process
Qualifications/Candidate profile
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or corresponding experience
• 3 years' experience in Marketing, Customer Service or Logistics and Planning
• Self-motivated individual who is confident in dealing with day-to-day tasks in a structured and organized way in order to support the S&OP process and its deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all regional teams and management
• English language skills
